Use Something Digital Challenge at The Paper Shelter

I made a shadow box this time, using a Silhouette store cut file, Kaisercraft DP and stickers from Jolee’s Boutique.  Sentiment is from a stamp set and cut out with die from my stash.  I sure hope you like it and will come play along!!  HugsSmile

Happy 7 year Anniversary Polkadoodles!!


Hello and welcome back!!  It's Tuesday, which usually means time for a New Challenge at Digi Choosday Challenge Blog, however our current challenge is going on for another week so that we may bring you our 7 year Anniversary celebration posts!

For today’s card, I combined Serenity Blossom image with 3 of the mushrooms that can be found in the Lily Bug Love Full Download Collection.  Image is colored with Copics and cut out with Cameo.  I chose papers from
Winnie Fruit Punch Big Bundle Download and Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Download Collection.  The flowers are from Work and Play Volume 12 Big Kahuna Download.   I added a clear stamp sentiment and cut that out with Nestie and added one one of the flowers to the middle.  Sure hope you like it!

Tottie Birthday Cupcake–Faery Ink Inspiration Post

Hello everyone and Happy Monday!  I cannot believe we are fast approaching the end of May followed quickly by the end of the school year for my kiddos.  Wow, the year has gone so fast!
I want to share some inspiration with you today featuring an image from Faery Ink Shop.   For this month's inspiration project, I chose Tottie Birthday Cupcake as my image since we are celebrating Faery Ink's 13th birthday all month long.   This cutie is available in the Faery Ink Shop.  This image was super fun to color, I especially enjoyed coloring the cupcake frosting and sprinkles!

Image is cut out with my Cameo and I made the background using the offset feature on the Cameo tracing tool.  DP is from Photo Play.  The card template is from a Silhouette Studio file, cut with my Cameo.  Sentiment is from a clear stamp set and cut with die from my stash.

Faery Ink’s 13th Birthday and 3 Tier Cake File from The Cutting Cafe

Hi everyone – super busy day here on my blog.  I think this is my last post of the day, hope you have enjoyed visiting my blog today.
As you may know, the month of May is birthday month at Faery Ink and this year we are celebrating the 13th birthday of Faery Ink!  Quite an accomplishment.
Right now, in addition to all the extra events as well as new images and specials which are available in the Faery Ink Shop, our Facebook Challenge this month is Birthdays and you can join us on Facebook – check out the details here Faery Ink Facebook Group.
I chose Gabbie Birthday Fairy from Faery Ink Shop as my image for this Facebook challenge.

I used the 3 tier cake box template from The Cutting Cafe Digital Shop.  I only used the top 2 layers of the cake and then instead of numbers, I used my image on the top of the cake.   added ribbon around the bottom of each tier of the cake.   I also added a bunch of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts as well as a sentiment from Tatty Twinkles that I cut out with die from my stash.  This was super fun to make!

For The Boys Challenge at Di’s Digi Designs

Happy Saturday to everyone!    Hope you had a wonderful week and are enjoying the start of your weekend.   I love weekends, especially because they allow me the opportunity to sleep in!

I used this adorable image “Let’s Go Sailing” from DI’S DIGI STAMPS.   This adorable image is colored with Copics.   I used my Cameo to trace the image and then cut out with a slight border around the image.  I chose to make a box using a file from the Silhouette library.  I added a sentiment from Fiskars which I cut with Nellie’s die.  I added an anchor cut with my Cameo and used twine to attach it.

For my creation today, I chose Jammin’ Janey set.  I used one of the images and one of the sentiments from this adorable set on my creation.

I colored this amazing image with Copics - I cut her out with Lifestyle Crafts die and the scalloped backing is done with a die from my stash.  Birthday paper is Doodlebug and other DP is The Angel Co.  I added ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and I distressed the edges of the brown Core-dinations paper using my sander blade.   I sure hope you like it and will come join our challenge at Imagine That Creative Playground.

For my winner’s post New Release creation today, I chose to play with Leesa's Swing.  I used the image with the swing attached to the tree branch as well as one of the sentiments from the set.

I chose a Cameo file from the Silhouette store for my creation.  I moved the pieces around a bit so the trees would be in front of the house so that I could display this gorgeous image more prominently.  Image is colored with Copics and cut with Cameo.  I chose Doodlebug Designs DP and sentiment, which is also cut with Cameo is daubed with Memento ink.  The great thing about this creation is that it actually folds flat so you can put it in an envelope and mail it!

This week I made a banner, a great way to celebrate any achievement (in my opinion at least:))  I chose this sweet image called One For You and it comes with the frame around it as part of the Winnie Fruit Punch Big Bundle Download.  The sentiment I created features 2 of the sentiments found in the Winnie Fruit Punch Big Bundle Download that I combined in GIMP and cut with my Cameo.  These beautiful papers can be found in Work and Play Volume 12 Big Kahuna Download.  I colored this adorable image with Copics and then did the background with Copics and my water brush filled with Copic colorless blender ink.  Sentiment is distressed with distress ink.

Die Cuts/Punches Challenge at Broken Fairy Designs Challenge

Happy Saturday everyone!  It’s time for a New Challenge at Broken Fairy Designs Challenge and our challenge this time is Die Cuts/Punches.  If you have not played along with us before, make sure you read all the rules at Broken Fairy Designs Challenge and then come play along!!  Our challenge runs just about 2 weeks, so you will have until May 27th to play in this one.


For today’s challenge creation, I chose the image Dog Stroll, which can be found in the March releases at Broken Fairy Designs Store.  I colored this adorable with Copics and cut out with scissors.  I chose all white for my background so as to really help the image pop.  I added a flower from Prima.  I used 3 die cuts, embossing folder and bling flourish is Zva Creative.  Sure hope you like it and will come play along!!

For my New Release creation today, I chose to play with Soldier Sara.  This set is wonderful in that it demonstrates how much we appreciate the militaries that defend our countries and the sacrifices they make so that we may enjoy our lives and not live in fear.

I chose a simpler card this time around so that I could really make this wonderful image the prime focus of my card.   I colored this amazing image with Copics and cut out using the print and cut feature on my Cameo.  I added the sentiment from the set to the banner using GIMP.  My paper is from Echo Park and I chose a Nesties die for the background.  I added buttons from my stash and flowers from Prima.   I sure hope you like it and will come visit  Imagine That Creative Playground to see all the New Release samples as well as check out Imagine That! digis by Kris to see all the amazing sets, papers, etc. for sale!!

I made a bendy fold card for my anything but square creation.   I used the image Egg Collecting, which can be purchased as a single image and also can be found in Work and Play 10 Country Life Full Download Collection.  My sentiment and the paper I used for the fence also come from this collection.  The green polka dot paper as well as all the embellies I used are from Winnie Fruit Punch Full Collection and the flower paper can be found in Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Download Bundle.

My image is colored with Copics and I cut it out with my Cameo.  I also used my Cameo to cut out the card pieces.


Here is my creation with the gate open so you can see the whole image and how I colored it.   I sure hope you like it.

I chose a fun fold this time around - a stand alone pop up gate fold/tag card - I found a template from a Pinterest link, but am having trouble locating it, once I find it, I will add it here.    I colored this adorable image with Copics and cut out using the print and cut feature on my Cameo.  The sentiment I chose is one from this same set and I also colored it with Copics and cut with my Cameo.  I chose ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts to round out my creation.  Design paper is Basic Grey.  I sure hope you like it and will come visit  Imagine That Creative Playground to see all the New Release samples as well as check out Imagine That! digis by Kris to see all the amazing sets, papers, etc. for sale!!
